There are many ways to do a successful free people search on the internet. The following is an example of one way to search for someone just by using the major search engines and a little effort. The first thing to try is to search just for the persons name. Start by using quotes and searching for "first middle last name" then "first M last" (M=middle initial) then "first last" then "last, first" "middle last", "last, middle" and so on. Also remember to do your search in all major search engines not just one. We have found a name in Google but not in MSN and vice versa. By learning more advanced search methods you should be able to find what you are looking for if it can be found.

You've found what you think may be the person you are searching for on a web site now what? Well what is the web site? Does it offer an email or phone number or business name or some way to contact that person? Is it a list of employee's of federal, state or local government? Some states list certified professionals like accountants, auctioneers, barbers and so on.
